Ferro silicon nitride is a new type material produced under room temperature. The principal component is Si3 N4 and it¡¯s content is 75%-80% of the whole product, and the content of Fe is 12%-17%. In High purity product, the content of Si3 N4 is 98.5% and the content of Fe is under 1%.
The product has fine corrosion, erosion-resistance, thermal shock resistance and wear-resistance. And it has rather stable chemical ingredient and thermal conductivity also. For containing nitride, this product possesses the properties of little expansion ratio, high thermal conductivity, high degree of firmness, non-contractive when heating up. It is durable and has high intensity. When the product is heated in high temperature, there will be a oxidize membrane in surface and this membrane can prevent inside material from the influence of chemical reaction.
Ferro silicon nitride is a kind of new-type refractory material, and it is applied to the pottery manufacturing industry, the water outlet of the smelting furnace, acid making and alkali-resistance industry etc. Because of the fire-resistant and other fine properties, Ferro silicon nitride can be applied into all kinds of fire resisting material.
